Samsung Announces Galaxy Note 7 With Iris Scanner, Curved Edges & More

Samsung announced the coming of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 yesterday, August 2, 2016 as is the usual practise with the Galaxy Note series, which is announced around August of each year and released into the market a few weeks after.

The last edition of the Galaxy Note series is the Galaxy Note 5, but it seems Samsung is skipping the Note 6 and jumping to Note 7 so that the numbering of the Note series would tally with that of the Galaxy “S” series. Galaxy S7 was released earlier this year and now that the Galaxy Note 7 is coming out, the numbers can now be the same and be increasing together annually.
