'Aaron Ramsey is a bit of a poser!'

Eamonn Dunphy, who now works as a television pundit, feels Wales do not have a lot of good players except for the likes of Gareth Bale and the Arsenal star

A former Republic of Ireland international has branded Aaron Ramsey as "a bit of a poser" and says that, outside of three or four players, Wales do not possess much quality. Ireland and Wales face off in a World Cup qualification bout next March and Eamon Dunphy, who played 23 times for the Boys in Green, is not overly concerned by Chris Coleman's team, who sit third in Group D, four points behind Martin O'Neill's team.
The former Millwall midfielder acknowledged the talents of Gareth Bale, Joe Allen, and Ashley Williams, but described Arsenal star Ramsey as "a poser", albeit a "dangerous" one.

"We're playing Wales next. They have Gareth Bale, who is a terrific player. They have Joe Allen, who is a really good player," Dunphy said, speaking on RTE 2FM's 'Game On' programme.
"[Aaron] Ramsey's a bit of a poser, but he's dangerous and he can score goals. Ashley Williams is a good centre half, but other than that they don't have a lot."

"There's no mystery about why our results have improved. We wouldn't have won in Moldova without Wes Hoolahan. We wouldn't have won against Austria without Wes, James McClean and David Meyler.
"There's no way Glenn Whelan or James McCarthy would have been where Meyler was, there's no way they would have won the ball and there's no way they would have delivered the pass.
"You've got two guys on the pitch who don't make a challenge, don't pass the ball and don't get involved. How can you win matches?"
